At this meeting of the NERG there were around 30 members present. There was no main speaker but a number on interesting things were discussed including operating from a lighthouse, operating in the John Moyle next year. Participation in the Great Australian Science show - the WIA will have a stand and are looking for people to staff it - if you have the time please talk to Mark VK3BYY and let him know.

It was decided that the retired members will be meeting on a regular basis on the 'off fortnight' for coffee call on 146.575MHz or contact Dave JMB, or Jim DBQ for details - wish I could go!

The agenda for the next few meetings was discussed and there are some excellent speakers coming up with visits to the museum at Essendon airport and presentations from Kenwood - keep looking at the details n NERG news.

Following the meeting there was the usual chat and biscuits, tea and coffee - discussions ran long into the evening and there was many varied topics discussed.
