1. (a) Please ensure that you register with the Marshall before each event.
(b) All vehicles will be marshalled in the driveway on the southern side of the Show Hall. Grids positions will be drawn from a hat prior to the events commencement.
(c) Don’t forget you must pay your entry fee for each event prior to its
commencement. An entry fee of $2 per car
is for events requiring a vehicle and $1 per person for pedestrian events.
(d) All events will start on time. No exceptions will be made so be ready.
2. (a) For SERG run events requiring
participants to find a hidden transmitter ie. Fox Hunts, Sniffer Hunts and the
Hidden Transmitter event, the following
rules apply :-
1. Entries will be on a one person per vehicle basis. Should it be necessary to leave the vehicle, only one set of D.F equipment is permitted amongst the group from that vehicle.
2. N.B. This Includes foil under T-Shirts and handhelds etc.
3. Pooling of resources from 2 or more vehicles under the one callsign is not permitted. In these cases a Separate entry is expected.
4. The above rules also apply to pedestrian events such as our Sniffer Hunts.
5. The person finding a Hidden transmitter must be carrying that groups D.F. equipment and the check ticket given to them by the previous leg.
6. Teams communicating locations during an event with the aim of assisting each other will be disqualified.
(b) Where an event ,that is still going to be part of the overall AFHC competition score, but conducted by another group, a special rule or rules will be added. This year an ARDF event has been added to our programme. Anyone may enter this event but where a team is hunting in the AFHC they must nominate which person of their team will be their teams representative in such an ARDF Event prior to such an events commencement.

3. PLEASE OBSERVE ALL STATE ROADLAWS. SPEEDING AND RECKLESS DRIVING WILL ONLY BRING UNWANTED ATTENTION TO OUR ACTIVITIES AND WILL MOST LIKELY CAUSE THE OFFENDER TO BE DISQUALIFIED
4. SCORING SYSTEM
(a) Points will be awarded down to position 10 in each event, provided 10 or more participants have entered. This means that if you finish 1st in an event or a leg you will receive 10 points, 2nd 9 points and so on.
(b) Where an event has multiple legs you must reach each leg in sequence to receive points. You cannot receive any points if you didn’t locate the previous leg. In other words you can’t say this leg is too difficult we will go to the next and hope to score any points.
(c) Event 1 will be scored using an alternative method to give the 10 points scorers.
(d) Sniffer Events 3 & 5 will be part of the Championship, but only 1 person can hunt under the teams callsign to score points for that team. Only points for 1st place (3 points),will be awarded.
